Clayton School Board Member Charged With Battery

With another Clayton County school board member getting in trouble with the law, Clayton County citizens are another step back from receiving school accreditation. Someone needs to step up and provide leadership for the county. Congressman David Scott is just one example of an elected official not fighting for the county.

A Clayton County school board member was arrested last week on charges of simple battery after a dispute with her live-in boyfriend.

Trinia Garrett, 36, the District 7 representative, was arrested on April 21 on charges of violating the family violence act.
