The passing of Senator Ted Kennedy clearly marks the end of an era in American politics. No matter what your political persuasion, Senator Kennedy was a passionate spokesman for the causes he believed in. He was known as the “Lion of the Senate” for good reason. He could be ferocious in fighting for the causes he supported. Yet at the same time, he had a reputation for being able to work across the aisle, with Republicans of different political philosophies, to secure the passage of legislation that he championed.
We are all praying for his wife, children, and the entire Kennedy family.
