Thank you for stepping up to the task.

Dr. Honeycutt, please keep in mind that the citizens of the various states, elect and send their Representative to Congress. The States DO NOT send the God Given Rights of their citizens along with the person elected to Congress. Those RIGHTS are retined in the States for the citizens.
Under Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution the powers of the federal government are enumerated. They have been expanded, over decades, beyond their intended scope by power hungry, corrupt, and misguided individuals intent on following the lead of progressive’ss wanting to concentrate all power in Washington, DC.
We, in Georgia, are going to hold future elected federals officials, accountable to following the Constitution and will expect our representatives to begin protecting the State and limiting the powers of the federal government.
If you feel up to the task, I congratulate your decision and wish you well. If you will confirm to legislate with those basic conservative principles, I am sure you will gain a loyal following.

As much as I admire and respect Dr. Honeycutt – she’s run twice now, and never received better than 35%. The Conservative and Moderate Democrats have shown they will not vote GOP, despite how bad they dislike Scott.

I am hoping she will decide to wait until 2012, when the redistricting opens a new district or two for Georgia. The only way to draw off support from Scott’s DEM base is to have an Independent facing off with him. Dr Honeycutt’s entry in to the race will only serve to guarantee Scott of a win in November – and Georgia and this country cannot afford that.
